The Perfect Idea

Juniors mouth dropped. He didn't know what was happening. One minute he was about to ask her to merry him and the next there is some guy there telling her that he loved her. "I still love you" Jake said. Kris looked at Junior who looked mad and confused. Jake looked at Junior and looked mad. "Junior this is Jake. We used to go out" Kris said not sounding very happy. "And Jake this is my boyfri........." she got ready to say boyfriend but something stooped her. "This is Junior" she said Junior looked shocked. He got up from the table and walked out. "No Junior wait" Kris said but Junior had already got up and left her there just like he did when she told him that she was going to sell Flame. Kris sat back down in her chair and Jake sat in Juniors seat. "Kris I have been thinking about you ever since we broke up. You don't need a guy like him who just leaves you here" Jake said to Kris. Meanwhile Junior was driving to Raintree. He kept thinking about Kris. She didn't even say I was her boyfriend she just said this is Junior. I was going to ask her to merry me and then he shows up and says he loves her. Junior pulled in Raintree and got out. He walked in the kitchen and there was Matt and Dani. "Did she say yes" Dani asked right when he opened the door. "Nope" he said setting down. "she said no" Matt asked. "No I didn't ask her I was getting ready to but this guy she used to go out with Jake showed up and told her he loved her" Junior said. Dani sat down. They were quiet for a while"Where is she" Matt asked. "I kind of left her at the restaurant with Jake" Junior told him. "Why did you leave her there I mean it's not like she choose him. I mean she can't help that he shows up and she can't help that he still loves her" Matt said. "Maybe this was a sign that I should not ask her" he said looking at the floor. "no you have to ask her you just have to" Dani said screaming again. Just then the door opened and Kris walked in. "Kris we need to talk" Junior said. Kris didn't stop she walked through the kitchen and up the stairs to her room. Junior followed her. She slammed the door before he could come in. Junior knocked on the door for a long time. "Kris please talk to me" Junior said. Kris opened the door. "What is wrong with you. Just because Jake showed up you get all mad and leave me" Kris said. "I don't care about Jake any more. I love you" she added. Junior pushed Kris into her room and shut the door. They made out for a while until Junior pulled away. "I am sorry I left you there'' he said looking in her eyes. "It's ok I still love you" she told him. "So Jake is gone for good" Junior asked. "yea he left" she told him smiling. After his talk with Kris Junior walked down stairs. Matt and Dani were still there waiting to know what happened. "She did she talk to you" Matt asked. "Yea and Jake is gone for good" he said. "and she is not mad that you left her tonight" Dani asked. "no" he answered. "Did you ask her to merry you" Matt asked. "No and now I am not shure how to do it I mean I had the perfect plan tonight and now I don't know" he said. "You will think of a way" Matt said. "Hey I have to go home" Dani said to Matt as she kissed him. "yea me to" Junior said. Him and Dani walked out and Matt went to bed. Junior and Dani went home and got ready for bed. Before Dani went to bed she walked in Juniors room. "I have an idea why don't you purpose to her on her birthday" she suggested. Junior had not even thought about that. Her birthday was in three weeks and that was the perfect idea. "Yes all my God that's perfect" Junior said getting excited. "I know you could do it here and you could have candles and flowers everywhere" Dani said excitedly. "Ok that's it that's how I am going to ask her" he said. Junior went to bed shortly after that. He was so excited. He was going to ask Kris to merry him............ WILL JUNIOR FINALLY ASK HER? TO BE CONTINUED!!!

Jake Returns

Junior walked down stairs and in to the living room where every one else was. He sat down beside Kris and put his arm around her and kissed her gently on the head. They stayed there and talked for a while. Then they all went home. No one really talked much in the car it was late and they were tired. They dropped Matt and Kris off at Raintree then the Davis family headed home. Kris went in and changed in to her pajamas and went to bed. She had no idea that Junior had an engagement ring and was thinking about asking her to merry him. Junior went up to his bed room and shut and locked his door. He sat down on his bed and pulled the little black box out of his pocket and looked at the ring. He did not know what to do. He loved Kris so much and he knew that Kris was the one he wanted to be with but what if she said no. He sat there awhile thinking about it then he finally changed and went to bed. The next day he went over to Raintree and Kris was setting in the barn on a pile of hay talking to Wildfire. "Hey" Junior said as he walked over to her and sat down. He kissed her. ''What are you doing tonight" he asked. "Nothing why" "we are going out to dinner" he said. "ok" she said. Just then Jean called for Kris. "I will see you tonight" he said walking away. Kris went out to the track to talk to Jean and Junior went to the Ritter house to talk to Matt. He walked in to the kitchen and Matt and Dani were there talking. "Hey listen you guys can I talk to you" he asked. "shure" Matt said. Junior pulled the ring out if his pocket and handed it to Matt. He opened the box and saw the ring. "Are you asking me to merry you" he asked. "No All my God it's for Kris isn't it" Dani asked screaming and jumping in Juniors arms and hugging him. "No well yes" Junior said. "Ok now I am confused" Dani said calming down a little. "My grandmother gave me the ring last night so I would ask Kris to merry me but I don't know what to do" Junior said setting down. "What do mean you don't know what to do. You love her you always have. You have to ask her" Dani said yelling again. "Yea you should ask her I mean she loves you to" Matt said. Matt did still love Kris but like a sister. He had Dani now and they were happy and Kris was a lot happier with Junior than she was with him and he liked seeing Kris happy and they were still good friends. "You really think I should" Junior said smiling he really wanted to ask her. "So you are going to do it" Dani said excitedly. "Yea..........I am going to do it'' Junior said smiling. "Yes. All my God I will help her plane the wedding. I mean the flowers, the cake, the dress" Dani said jumping up and down. Just then Kris walked in. Matt shoved the ring he was holding in his pocket and tried to look normal. "Whats are you doing" she asked. "Just talking" Matt said. "Ok anyway. I will see you tonight" Kris said to Junior. He nodded still smiling. She gave them a weird look and walked up stairs. "Well I think we freaked her out" Matt said laughing. "Are you going to do it tonight'' Matt asked yea. "I wanna come" Dani said. "Are you kidding no I am nerves enough I don't any one else there" Junior said. "Fine well we will be here when you get back" Dani said. "Ok I got to go get ready" Junior said walking out. He got ready and sat down on his bed and put the ring in his pocket. He was so scared that she was going to say no. He finally left and went to pick her up. They went to a fancy restaurant. They were almost done and Junior new that now was the time. "Kris I need to talk to you about something" Junior said. He reached in to his pocket and got ready to pull the ring out when boy around there age came up to the table. "Jake what are you doing here" Kris asked. "I came here to tell you that...... that I am still in love with you" he said........... WHO IS JAKE? WILL JUNIOR STILL PROPOSE? WILL JUNIOR AND KRIS EVEN STAY TOGETHER? TO BE CONTINUED!!!

The Ring

Everyone had been back in California for a few weeks. Kris had been training with both Wildfire and Avatar. Ever since the race Ken had been wanting her to work with Avatar and may be even ride him in another race soon. One day Kris was riding Wildfire at Raintree and Junior walked up and sat on the rail and watched the rest of her ride. She got off and Brian took Wildfire and told her what a good job she did and he took Wildfire to the barn. "Hey girl" Junior said as Kris walked over to him and gave him a kiss. "What are you doing here I thought we were going out tonight" Kris said to him as they walked to the barn. "well a few weeks ago my grandparents called my dad and wanted me, him, Dani, my aunt and uncle, and my cousins to come to dinner at there house" he said. "aww so yu came to break our date" she said. "no actually she said me, my dad, Dani, and all yes her exact words were tell Junior and Dani to bring the Ritter boy and the jockey with you" Junior said. "No no no I am not going to dinner at you grandparents house" Kris said. "Please" Junior begged. "No your dad and Dani just started to kind of like me lately. I don't have a very good history of your family liking me" she said. "Come on my grandparents will like you. My older cousin will think your hot and my little cousin is a big fan of you and Wildfire and has watched all of your races on television" Junior said. "please this is important to me" Junior said giving her a sad face. "Fine" Kris said. "Thank you I will pick you up at eight" Junior said. He kissed her and walked out of the barn. Kris walked to the house and Dani and Matt were having the exact conversation that her and Junior just had. Finally Matt gave in and said that he would go. Dani kissed him and walked out of the house. Matt gave Kris an I don't want to go look. "I know I have to go to" Kris said sounding very un excited. Kris went up stairs and took a nice long hot shower. When she got out she blow dried her hair and curled it. She then put on a little make up. After that she put on a black halter top dress and her black shoes. She walked down stairs and Matt was setting on the coach staring at the television that was not even on. He was wearing a suit and looked nice. Kris went over and sat down next to him. "I don't want to go" Kris said. "I know. I never know what to say to there family. I usually just make up some stupid joke and embarres my self . The door bell rang and Kris grabed her coat and walked out with them. Junior could tell that she did not want to go. He rubbed her back as they walked to the car. Ken was driving. Dani sat up front and Junior, Matt, and Kris sat in the back. There grandparents house was about forty minuets away. Finally they got there. There house was bigger than the Davis house. They walked t the door and Ken rang the door bell. The maid came to the door and took there coats and lead them into the living room. Dani and Juniors grandmother Katheryn came up and hugged Ken then Dani and then Junior. Then there grandfather Richard came and hugged them to. "All yes this must be Matt Ritter" Katheryn said. They had meet Matt a long time ago when him and Dani and Junior were younger and they came to there house. She hugged Matt and Richard shock his hand. Kris was kind of hiding behind Junior. She was afraid that they would not like her. After they got done talking to Matt Katheryn came up to Kris. "And this must be Kris. We have heard a lot about you and we saw you win he Kentucky Derby a few weeks ago" she said being very nice to Kris. Richard then came up to her. "Yes and you are the one that broke Juniors heart and made him cry not to long ago" he said laughing and looking at Junior. "I did not cry" Junior said looking towards Kris trying to act tough. Kris laughed. They walked in the living room. There were Junior and Dani's aunt, uncle, and there one of the two cousins. There cousin was a girl and she looked around twelve. There aunt Rachel stood up and walked over to them and hugged them all. "and Rachel you remember Matt Ritter" Ken said. "Yes Pete and Jean's oldest son" she said hugging him. "and this is Kris" Ken said "aww yes she won the Kentucky Derby and made our little Junior cry" Rachel said laughing at Junior. "I did not cry" Junior said trying so hard to act tough. Kris smiled at him. There uncle Dan stood up and walked over joining in on the conversation. "yes you did" he said looking at Junior. He put his arm around Kris and walked her over to the coach. They all followed and sat down. "See we came to visit after you broke up with him and to make a story short he cried" he said laughing. Junior rolled his eyes and laughed along with them. Just then there cousin Lilly stood up and said "your Kris right" she asked. Kris shook her head yes. "you stole the horse then lost the sandpiper then won the Breeders then won a bunch of other races including to Kentucky Derby" she said very fast. "um yea Lilly" Dani said. "she loves watching your races and she thinks Wildfire is the best" Rachel said. They all talked a while. Richard and Ken talked about who is doing better in the racing world and Lilly asked Kris all kinds of questions about Wildfire. Dani, Katheryn, and Rachel talked about the new winter line of clothes that was coming out. Just then a boy around eighteen or nineteen walked in "hey sorry I am late" he said. That's my other cousin Josh Junior whispered in Kris's ear. Josh walked in and every one stood up and hugged him and asked him questions. He hugged every one and then got to Kris "And I don't believe we have meet" he said checking out Kris. "Hi I am Kris" she said ignoring the fact that he was hitting on her. "aw yea your the girl that made Junior cry" he said not knowing that every one had already said that . Everyone started laughing except Junior who just sat down and rolled his eyes. They ate dinner and then went back into the living room. Josh went and sat down next to Kris while Junior was talking to his grandmother. "So why would a pretty girl like you go out with my dorky cousin" he asked putting his arm around her. "stop it Josh there is no way you will break them two up" Dani said setting down next to Matt. Junior and his grandmother were talking in the corner. "come here she said I have something to give to you" she took Junior up to her bed room and shut the door. "Here" she said handing Junior a small black box. He opened it and there was a small gold engagement ring with a beautiful diamond in it. "I want you to give it to Kris. It was your great grandmothers. May be not now but some day when ever you two are ready and if your ready now then so be it" she said. Junior sat down on the bed in shock. He looked at the beautiful ring. He loved Kris and had honestly been thinking about asking her to merry him but he wasn't Shir was now a good time or was it not................. WILL JUNIOR PURPOSE OR NOT? TO BE CONTINUED!!!

Winning

Avatar started out the race riding in the back but close to the end of the race the made it to the front and in the last few seconds of the race him and another horse were neck and neck but Avatar pulled ahead in the end and won. Kris was so happy. She couldn't believe it she had won the Kentucky Derby. A ranch hand lead Avatar to the winners circle and the Davis family, the Ritters, Brian, Kerry, and Pablo came down form the stands and came running over. "All my God. Great job Kris" Ken said. "Ya great job" Dani said. "we won'' Dani screamed to Ken and Junior. The Ritters all congratulated her and Kerry told her what a great job she did and so did Brian. Pablo came over to her "Way to go Kris" he said. "same to you. You trained him" Kris said to Pablo as she leaned down form Avatar and gave Pablo a hug. They all took tuns of pictures and Kris had to set on Avatar for a long time as they took them. Finally they were done taking pictures. Ken and Pablo had to go a do an interview since Avatar won and Dani went with them. The Ritters, Kerry, and Brian went back to the hotel. Junior went over and pulled Kris down from Avatar. "You did amazing" he said still holding her. He gave her a kiss and sat her down. Kris went to go change and then she had to do an interview since she won and then they all went back to the hotel. That night they all went out to dinner to celebrate and after that they all went back to the hotel because they all were on the three am flight back to California. They had to be at the air port at one-thirty in the morning and it was nine o'clock when they got back from dinner. Every one went back to there rooms and got ready and went to bed. Kris could not fall asleep right away. She had her head on Juniors chest and she thought about the race. She won. She had won the Kentucky Derby. Her career was going good. She had Junior and the Ritters. For the first time in a long time everything was perfect................................................BUT HOW LONG WILL IT LAST? TO BE CONTINUED!!!

The Make Up and The Race

Kris said goodbye to everyone at Raintree. Jean, Matt, Brian, Kerry, Todd, Pablo, Dani, and Ken were all flying down to Kentucky a few days before the race but for now it was just going to be Kris and Junior. Kris was setting in the back of Dani's car and Junior was setting in the front seat. Dani drove Kris and Junior to the airport and they got on a plane to Kentucky. They walked to there seats on the plane and realized that there seats were next to each other. Kris rolled her eyes and sat down and Junior sat down next to her. They didn't talk for about an hour but finally Junior broke the silence. "Kris are we ever going to talk about this" Junior asked in a caring voice. Kris was silent. "Please Kris I want to make this better. I love you so much and I cant loose you. I am so sorry for what I did and I know I cant take it back. If I could I would" Junior said. Kris still didn't say anything. "Kris please talk to me" Junior said. "I am not mad any more. I just don't trust you any more" Kris said still not looking at him. Junior sat there for a while and did not say anything. "Will you ever be able to trust me again" Junior asked kind of afraid of the answer. Kris still didn't say any thing. "Kris I want to be with you again and I don't love Gillian I never did" Junior said. "Then why did you kiss her and almost sleep with her. I mean were you just trying to get back at me for going out with Matt or were you considering going out with Gillian. I mean I just want to know why. I thought we were doing good and then you messed it all up to be with her" Kris said trying so hard not to cry but she couldn't hold it in any longer. Junior put his soft hand on her face and wiped a tear off of her face. "I don't know I was stupid and I never mint to hurt you. You don't know how much I love you and I know you love me to" Junior said with his hand still on the side of her face. "I don't know how I feel any more" Kris said honestly. Junior leaned over and kissed her forehead. Kris was now crying and Junior brushed the tears off of her face. "I do love you but I can't be with you wright now I mean I have the race coming up and I want to win it and after that then we will talk" Kris said. Junior felt a little bit better at least they still had a shoot. The plane landed a little while after and they got off. They went to the hotel. They were in the same room but Kris had the bed near the window and Juniors was near the door. They hung out there most of the day and watched television. Kris talked to Junior some but it was still weird and he could tell that she was still hurt by what he did. For the next few weeks Kris and Avatar trained a lot. Kris and Junior were getting along better. They were still not back together but she talked to him and he was glad. Finally it was two days before the race and Junior was setting on the rail timing Kris and Avatar. "Very good" he said you cut off a second since yesterday. One of the ranch hands for the track came and took Avatar to the barn. The Ritters, Pablo, Ken, Dani, Brian, and Kerry were all flying down today and should be there in a few hours. Kris and Junior went back to the hotel and Kris took a shower while Junior watched television. His phone started ringing. "Hello" he said. "Hey listen we are here and at the hotel but we forgot your room number" Dani said on the other end. "Were on the third floor in room 304" he said. "Good well we are all on the same floor. We are on our way up" Dani said. "ok see ya" Junior said getting ready to hang up. ''Hey Junior wait" Dani said. "yea" "What happened with you and Kris and where is she" Dani asked. "She is in the shower and no we are not together but she is talking to me now and she did say that after the race we might could talk about things" Junior said sounding excited. "well good and maybe this time you wont screw things up" Dani said jocking. "ha ha" Junior said. "I will see you in minute" she said and hung up. "Kris" Junior yelled slightly opening the bathroom door. "Yea" Kris said yelling over the sound of the shower. "Every one is here and they are coming up in a minute" Junior said. "Ok I will be done in a second" she said. Junior walked over and sat back down on the bed. Kris came out of the bathroom with a towel raped around her. "Hey can you turn around" Kris asked. Junior laughed as he turned his back to her "you know I have seen you change in front of me before" Junior said laughing. "Well that was different and shut up" Kris said playfully. "ok" Kris said after she finished changing "you can turn around now" Kris was pulling her hair into a pony tail when they heard a knock on the door. Junior opened it and there was every body. Everyone hugged them and said hello. "So Kris how is Avatar's times" Ken asked. "Good he cut off another second today" Kris said happily. That night they all went to dinner then came back to the hotel. Pablo had his own room, Brian had his own room, Ken had his own room, and Kerry also had his own room. Matt and Dani were sharing a room and Jean and Todd were sharing a room and Junior and Kris had there room. When they got back everyone went to there rooms and got ready and went to bed. Kris laid in her bed looking at the ceiling while Junior took a shower. After a while he came out and saw her laying there. "You nerves about the race tomorrow" Junior asked. Kris shook her head yes. Junior went over to her bed to kiss her on the head. He went to back away but she pulled his arm back and moved over so he could lay beside her. Junior backed away and went to cut the light off then came back and laid next to her. She laid her head on his chest. Junior ran his fingers through her hair. "I do love you" Kris said. "I love you to and I am sorry and I want to be with you not Gillian" Junior said. "I want to be with you to" Kris said softly. "really" Junior said surprised. "yea" Kris said looking in his eyes and smiling. Juniors heart was racing. "I love you too and I am not going to mess this up again. Its me and you and that's the way I want it" Junior said still holding her in his arms and looking in her eyes. They leaned in and kissed for the first time in months. Kris slept in Juniors arms all night. That morning Dani knocked on there door. They were asleep and did not hear it. She opened the door and saw them laying there. Junior heard the door shut and woke up and saw Dani standing there. He got out of bed gently so he would not wake Kris up and him and Dani walked in the hall. "So" Dani said smiling. "I guess you two are back together". "I guess so" Junior said smiling back. "well good and this time don't sleep with anyone else" Dani said laughing. "Listen dad said for everyone to be downstairs in an hour to head to the track" she said. "ok" Junior said. He walked back into the room and saw Kris laying there awake. He went and kissed her on the mouth then moved to her neck. Junior I have to get ready for the race and so do you. Kris said standing up. She kissed him once more and went to take a shower. About an hour they were at the track. Everyone was in the stands and Kris and Avatar were being loaded into the starting gate. Kris had never been so nerves. This was the most important race she would probably ever ride in. The Davis family were in the stands with Jean, Matt, Todd, Kerry, Brian, and Pablo and there were all nerves to. Suddenly the gates flew open and they were off............ WILL KRIS AND AVATAR WIN THE KENTUCKY DERBY? TO BE CONTINUED!!!

Leaving

Kris quickly pulled away and stood up. Kerry looked up at her. Kris had almost stopped crying. "What are you doing" she asked him in shock. "Well you and Junior are over and you know that I love you Kris" Kerry said standing up. "No. Me and Junior may be over but you are just as bad as he is. You all so cheated on me with Gillian and then you stole the Breeders money. When I move on from Junior it certainly wont be to you" she said now sounding mad. She walked away and Kerry stood up and walked to his car and left. Kris walked back up to the house and went to her bedroom. She needed to go back to Davis and train but she just could not see Junior. Meanwhile back at Davis Farms Pablo walked in the barn and saw Junior setting on some hay. "Where is Kris" Pablo asked. "She went back to Raintree" Junior said not making eye contact. "Why we were supposed to start training thirty minutes ago" Pablo said setting down next to him. "She couldn't look at me so she left" Junior said. "Why what did you do" Pablo asked. "I kind of all most cheated on her with Gillian" Junior said sounding like he was going to cry. "What do you mean all most cheated on her" Pablo asked sounding mad. "We all most slept together but Matt waked in before anything happened" Junior said. "Why would you do that. I thought you loved her. When she was going out with Matt you sat around here mopping all day. Then she breaks up with Matt and you two start going out. You got what you wanted. Why would you just throw all that away" Pablo asked sounding really mad and walking off. Junior got up and walked back to the house. Junior walked through the door right as Dani walked by. "Why did you do that" Dani asked yelling at Junior. "How do you know about that" Junior asked. "Matt told me. You bought Avatar so Kris would be over here riding him, you left your family for her and then you get her then you go and sleep with Gillian" Dani said yelling. She could not believe that she was taking Kris's side over her brothers but she was. "I did not sleep with Gillian" Junior said yelling back at her. "No but if Matt had not walked in you would have. Do you love Gillian" Dani asked. "No I love Kris" Junior said screaming at her. "Well you shure have a funny way of showing it" Dani said walking out the door. Junior walked up to his room an slammed the door. Pablo lead Avatar over to Raintree and knocked on the door he knew that Matt and Jean were in the barn and Kris would be the one to come to the door. Kris did come to the door and she saw Pablo and Avatar standing there. "What are you doing here" she asked in shock. "Well Junior told me what he did and why you were not there to train and I figured if you could not train at Davis then we could train here. I asked Jean if it was ok and she said it was so come on we have a race to get ready for" Pablo said walking towards the track. "Yea we have a race to get ready for" Kris said to her self walking towards the track. For the next few weeks Kris, Avatar, and Pablo had been training at Raintree. Kris had not talked to Junior for a while. He tried to talk to her but she would not. Matt really did not hang out with Junior as much as they did before. Matt was still mad at Junior for what he did to Kris. Kris had been training a lot and they were leaving for the Kentucky Derby in three weeks. They had to start thinking about the race so Ken called a meeting for Junior, Dani, Pablo, Kris, and him for that night. Kris did not want to see Junior but she had to. She walked to the Davis Farms and knocked on the door. Dani answered. "Hey" Dani said cheerfully. Her and Dani had been getting along good lately even after what happened with her and Junior her and Dani had actually become friends. "Hey" Kris replied back. Her and Dani walked in the living room. Junior, Ken, and Pablo were already there. Dani sat on the coach beside Junior because she knew that Kris did not want to. Kris went and sat down beside Pablo on the other coach. "Ok we leave for Kentucky in three weeks and the race is in six weeks. We only need Kris, Avatar, and one of us to go in three weeks. The other three can go in time for the race" Ken said mainly addressing Junior, Dani., and Pablo. "Kris and Avatar have to get use to the track there and one of us needs to go to help" he added. "I can not go I have some very important meetings during that time" Ken said. "I cant go either I have to go check out that horse for you remember" Dani said looking at Ken. "I am training Twilight for a race that is that week remember" Pablo said to Ken. "All that's right. Twilight has a race that week and Pablo has to be there" Ken said "Junior can you go" Ken asked. Everyone was quiet everyone knew about Kris and Junior. Even Ken. "Look I wish me or Dani could go but I have a meeting the same day that we were going to go look at the horse and Dani already made an appointment to go look at the horse" Ken said looking at Junior. "I can go" Junior said looking at Kris. "Ok then you two and Avatar will leave in three weeks and me, Dani, and Pablo will fly down a few days before the race. Everyone ok with the plan" Ken asked. Every one shook there heads yes except Kris. She just sat there. Finally every thing was done and every one stood up and said good bye. Kris walked as fast as she could to the door and got ready to leave when Junior called after her. He grabbed her arm to stop her "are you going to be ok with me going to Kentucky with you'' he asked. "Yea" Kris answered after a long pause. Three weeks had passed since that night and Kris was still not talking to Junior. But they had to leave the next day for Kentucky and they were going alone........................................ WHAT WILL HAPPEN ON THE TRIP? WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE RACE? TO BE CONTINUED!!!

The Kiss

"Kris I can explain.." Junior started. "No you can't" Kris yelled. She got up from the table and started walking to talk to me" he said to her. Matt was watching them from the kitchen. "No I don't want to talk to you. I can't even look at you" Kris said starting to cry. She ran up the stairs and went in to her bedroom and the stairs. "Kris" Junior said running after he reached out and grabbed her arm and spun her around. "Please slammed the door. Junior walked back to the kitchen and saw Matt standing there. "Why did you have to tell her" Junior asked. "Because she is one of my best friends and I can't believe you would do that to her. I remember when Kris came and you said to me that if you ever got to go out with her you would never hurt her" Matt said screaming at him. "I know I know I hurt her. I didn't know what to do" Junior said yelling back at him. "You didn't know what to do. You just don't kiss Gillian you just don't take her clothes off " Matt said screaming as he walked out of the kitchen and headed up the stairs. Matt walked up to Kris's room and knocked on the door as he opened it. Kris was setting on her bed crying."Hey Kris it will OK" Matt said walking over to her bed and setting beside her. He raped his arms around her and hugged her. "I thought he loved me" she said sobbing in his arms. Matt heard his mom calling him from downstairs. "Listen I need to go help her are you going to be OK" he asked. She nodded her head still crying. Matt hugged her one more time and walked out of the room. Kris laid there on her bed crying until she finally fell asleep. She woke up the next day. Her hair was sticking to her face from where she had cried all night. She heard someone knock on her door. "Yea" she said softly. Matt walked in and handed her a water bottle. She took it as he sat down at the bottom of her bed. "You doing any better" he asked. She didn't say any thing. She just looked down. "Look Kris I hate to tell you this but you do have to be over at Davis Farms in thirty minutes to train" Matt said sweetly. "I know" she said. Matt hugged her and walked out. Kris got up and got dressed. She walked down stairs and out the door. She really didn't want to go see Junior but she had promised Ken that she would ride for them and she couldn't let him down. Junior woke up that morning. He just laid there. For the last few weeks he either slept at Raintree or Kris spent the night at Davis with him. It was weird waking up and her not being there. He remembered that she was coming over to train Avatar. He jumped out of the bed and put on some clothes and ran down stairs and out the door. He ran to the barn to find Kris there with Avatar. He walked up to her and started to talk to her. "Don't talk to me" Kris said to him as she walked past him. Her voice was soft and he could tell she had been crying. It broke his heart to know that he did this to her. He grabbed her arm and pulled her close to him. "Kris listen just give two minutes" Junior said. "Fine you have two minutes" Kris said. "I am so sorry. Kris I love you and you know that. I don't love Gillian. I want to be with you. I know I hurt you and I will do any thing to fix this" he said looking in her blue eyes. "What can I do to make this better" he asked. "You can't make this better. I don't want to be with you any more" she said starting to cry. ''No Kris we have to be together. There has to be something I can do to make this work" he said almost ready to cry. "you can't. You're a totally different person to me now. I thought you would never hurt me" she said sobbing. She ran out of the barn. She knew that she had to train but she couldn't. She ran to Raintree and ran to the barn. She fell back on a pile of hay in Wildfire's stall. She was sobbing. Just then Kerry walked in. He walked in Wildfire's stall and saw Kris setting there crying. He sat down next to her and raped his arms around her and hugged her. "What's wrong" he asked. "Junior ....cheated....on...me...with.....Gillian" she said in between sobs. Kerry sat there beside her for a few minutes then he put her chin in his hands so she was looking him in the eyes. Then he leaned in and kissed her on the mouth............................. WILL KRIS AND KERRY GET BACK TOGETHER? WHAT ABOUT GILLIAN AND JUNIOR? TO BE CONTINUED!!!

Telling

Kris was doing a lot better and so was Avatar. They had been training for the last two weeks. At first Kris was afraid to ride again but Junior convinced her to get back on. Avatar's times were better than ever. The guy at the animal hospital said that the two weeks he had with no training really helped his leg and improved his times. Every thing was going good. Kris was training with Avatar one day and Pablo had to go to Mr. Davis' office for something so Junior was timing her. When she finished her lap around the track she rode up to Junior who held up the stop watch. "Yes" Kris screamed. "You cut off two seconds since yesterday" Junior informed her. She jumped off Avatar and ran over to the fence where Junior was setting. She ran over to him and kissed him. "So you are done training for the day, what do you want to do" Junior asked. Kris laughed knowing what Junior wanted to do. "I can't. I promised Jean that I would work with Wildfire today so he wont get totally out of shape" Kris said. Junior wined hoping she would stay. Kris leaned in and kissed him once more "OK now I really have to go. I will come back latter" Kris said walking towards Raintree. Junior walked back to his house and up to his bedroom. He took a shower and watched TV and waited for Kris to finish up with Wildfire and come back. Kris went back to Raintree and worked with Wildfire and Brian for a little while then went in side to take a shower and got dressed and headed to Davis Farms. Junior was in the living room at Davis Farms waiting for Kris to come when he hears a knock on the door. He jumps up and runs over to the door hoping to see Kris but when he opened it there stood Gillian. "What are you doing here" Junior asked in shock. "I came to see you" Gillian said. "I thought that you were getting married and staying in England" Junior said. "I was getting married two days ago but I was standing at the alter and all I could think of was you" Gillian said. Junior stood there in shock for a few seconds. "you ran out on your wedding for me" Junior asked. Gillian stood there looking in his eyes. She leaned in and kissed him. He did not know what came over him but he did not pull away. Gillian pushed him inside and up the stairs to his room. She pushed him in his room and shut the door. She pushed him on the bed and began taking off his shirt. Finally Junior came to his senses and pushed her off of him and stood up. "Gillian what are you doing. You can't just come in here and mess everything up. I am with Kris now and I really don't want to hurt her" he said. Gillian stood up and walked over to him and ran her hands over his chest. "She hurt you didn't she. I mean when she went out with Matt" Gillian asked. "Yea but I am not going to that to her" Junior said not looking Gillian in the eyes. "I really missed you. I mean when I left you I thought about you all the time" Gillian said. She paused for a minute. "I love you" Gillian said softly. "I can't do this" he said. Gillian had her arms around his neck. "I can't hurt Kris". "You can be with anyone you want to be with" Gillian replied. Gillian pushed Junior back on the bed and took off his shirt. Junior knew that this was wrong but he didn't stop it. He took off Gillian's shirt and kissed her neck. At that moment the door opened and there stood Matt. "All my God" he said. Matt turned and walked out of the room and headed to the door. Junior stood up and grabbed his shirt and ran after Matt. "Matt wait" Junior said running down the stairs. Matt didn't stop until Junior grabbed his arm. "Please please please don't tell Kris what you saw" Junior begged. "I have to she is my friend and I can't believe what you did or what you were going to do. I never thought that you would be the one hurting Kris" Matt yelled. He walked out of the house and slammed the door. Junior stood there hurt. He didn't want to be the guy that hurt Kris he knew that if Kris found out that they would break up. Kris did go out with Matt but when she did that him and Kris were not actually together but this time was different him and Kris were together. He grabbed his coat that was on the chair and ran out of the door he ran as hard as he could until he reached the Ritter house. He walked in the kitchen and there were Kris and Matt standing there. Matt looked mad and Kris looked hurt and he knew that she knew what had happened............................. WILL KRIS AND JUNIOR FINALLY BE OVER FOR GOOD? TO BE CONTINUED!!!

Recovering

Junior and Pablo jumped over the fence and ran over to Kris. She was just laying there not moving. "Call your dad" Pablo said to Junior. Junior got out his cell in a panic and called his dad. Pablo got out his phone and called the paramedics. Shortly Ken and Dani came running out. Junior thought he was going to cry. He held it together. Shortly after Kris was on her way to the hospital and Avatar was at the animal hospital. Matt, Dani, Jean, Pablo, Brian, Kerry, Junior, and Todd were at the hospital waiting on news about Kris. Ken was with Avatar. The nurse came into the waiting room where they all were. "How is she" Jean asked. "Will she be OK" Junior asked. "Will she still be able to ride" Kerry asked. "How bad is she" Pablo asked. They were all asking questions so fast that the nurse could not answer them. Finally they let the nurse answering the questions. "She will be fine and should be able to ride again as long as she wakes up" the nurse said. "what do you mean as long as she wakes up" Jean asked. "Well she hit her head pretty hard and more than likely she'll wake up but there is a small chance that she wont'' the nurse said. Everyone looked at each other. Kris had to wake up Junior thought, I can't loose her. Everyone waited for a few hours and nothing changed. Dani's cell phone started ringing. "Hey Dani" Ken said on the other end of the phone conversation. "How is Kris" Ken asked. He at fist didn't like Kris but he knew that Junior loved her and know mater how much he didn't like her at first he certainly didn't want her to die. "She will be fine as long as she wakes up. But she hit her head pretty hard and there is a chance that she wont wake up" Dani said. Dani didn't like Kris at first either but ever since Kris and Matt broke up and she started dating him and Kris and Junior started going back out her and Kris had been getting along better. "How is Junior" Ken asked. "He is really worried about her" Dani said. "Listen Dani I am on my way there now" Ken said. "Bye love you'' Dani said. She walked back where every one else was. Just then the nurse walked out. "OK she woke up and everything looks fine. She did break two ribs and her arm and she will be a little soar for a while but if you want to see her you can. Why don't just one or two of you go first so you don't overwhelm her" the nurse said. "Junior why don't you go first" Jean said. Jean wanted to see her but she thought that Kris would want to see Junior first. Junior walked in her room and smiled when he saw her. "Hey" he said walking over to her and hugging her. Kris winced at the sudden contact. "Sorry did I hurt you" Junior asked. "Kinda" Kris said. Junior sat down on the side of the bed. "I was so worried about you" Junior said giving her a sweet kiss on the head. With in the next hour everyone had come in to see her. The doctor said that she could leave tomorrow but she could not ride for two weeks. Avatar did not break his leg but he did crack a bone in it. They said that her could not run for two weeks either but as long as his leg healed right he could still ride in the race. Everyone left to go home and go to bed except Junior he stayed there with Kris. He fell a sleep laying next to her. The next day Kris was at Raintree laying in her bed with Junior laying next to her. The doctor said that she needed to take it easy for a few days. Avatar was back at the Davis barn doing better too. But they were all still worried that Kris would be to afraid to get back on a horse since the accident and if that happens then what about the race................................ WILL KRIS RIDE AGAIN? WILL AVATAR'S LEG BE WELL ENOUGH TO RACE? TO BE CONTINUED!!!

The Training and The Fall

Kris had been training Avatar at Davis Farms for a while. Kris loved it because Pablo was her trainer again and she missed Pablo being her trainer. Ken put Junior in charge of watching over the training and to make sure that Pablo didn't need any help. Junior was getting back into the family business and helping out more. He didn't didn't own any of the farm. After the match race Dani and Junior both signed over there shares of the farm to Ken. At first they were mad and going to leave but Ken talked to them and now they were both still there and they were helping out with the farm. Junior liked helping out with the training because he got to see Kris ride. One of the ranch hands led Avatar out to the track and Junior helped her up. "Take him around slow at first Kris" Pablo said. Pablo was happy to train Kris again. Even though it wasn't Kris and Wildfire he liked training her. Kris rode Avatar most of that day. She was so tired when she got done. "Ok Kris that's enough for today. We will do more tomorrow" Pablo said. Junior pulled her off Avatar and stood there with her in his arms. The ranch hand took Avatar to the barn. Junior kissed Kris's head and sat her down. She laid her head on his shoulder as they walked to the barn. "I am so tired" she said taking her helmet off. "I am going home. I love you and will see you tomorrow" Kris said. "No" Junior said in annoying begging voice. "Stay here". Kris smiled "Fine" she said. They walked up to the house. It was just getting dark and Ken was in his office yelling to someone on the phone and Dani was in the living room watching television. Junior and Kris walked up to his room and he locked the door. Kris walked over to his bed laid down on her stomach with her head buried in his pillow. Junior laughed and went over and laid down beside her. He rubbed her back. They were quiet for a while. Junior rolled over a few minuets later and Kris was already a sleep. The next day Kris was training Avatar and Pablo and Junior were watching. Avatar was way off of his normal time and no one knew why. Kris was trying but something was wrong with him. About half way around the track Avatar fell sending Kris off of his back. Before hitting the ground she hit her head on the fence......................

The Breeders

Two weeks had past and the Breeders was the next day. Raintree had found a new jockey and Wildfire had already raced and he came in third. Matt and Jean were still a little mad since Kris did not ride for them but they understood why and were still supporting her decision to ride in the Breeders. It was 10:30 at night and Kris was so nerves about the next day, Junior was laying next to her almost asleep. He rolled over and looked at her he could tell that she was nerves. "Kris you will do fine tomorrow but you need some sleep" Junior said with his eyes closed and almost asleep. Kris looked over at him a few minutes later and he was already asleep. Junior woke up at 6:30 and rolled over and kissed Kris's cheek. "Wake up baby girl" he said as he stood up and went to the bathroom. When he came back Kris was up and dressed ready for the race. "Junior got his jacket and they both walked outside. "I am going home to take a shower but I will see you at the race" he said giving her a sweet kiss and walking away. Jean, Matt, Todd, Brian, Kerry, Junior, and even Dani was coming to the race to watch her. Dani had been actually nicer to her since she broke up with Matt. Dani and Matt were doing good. Kris got in her car. The one Kerry had given her. She went to the track and meet with Sara the owner of Meadow Brooke Farm and Mark the trainer. The horse she was riding was Angle. They got the horse ready and headed to the track. Kris changed into her silks and was getting ready to get on the horse when she saw Junior. She walked over to him. "Good luck and stay calm you will do fine" he said looking in her eyes. She smiled and kissed him. "All and be careful" he added. She smiled and went back to the horse. She got on the horse and they were loaded in to the starting gate. Matt, Jean, Brian, Todd, Kerry, Junior, and Dani were standing at the rail watching. The gates flew open and the horses were off. Kris and Angel were neck and neck with another horse but they pulled ahead at the last minute and Angel and Kris won. Kris was so excited she got off the horse and took pictures with everyone. Then she went and changed into some jeans and a black tank top. Junior was waiting for her at his car. She run to him and jumped in to his arms. He spun her around and kissed her. They went back to Raintree every one was happy for her. Junior, Dani, Matt, and Kris hung out for a while then Kris and Junior went up to bed. Junior woke up the next morning and Kris was already up. He went down stairs and Kris was setting at the table with Jean. Junior saw Jean there and Kris saw him. He waved from the door and went out the front door so Jean did not see him. Kris did not want to Jean to know that Junior spent the night there. Matt walked in with the mail and handed it to his mom. Jean opened the mail. She finally opened a letter from the bank and read it to her self. "All my God" she said. "What Matt" asked. Kris already knew what. Jean read the letter out loud and said that a bunch of money had been deposited it to Raintree's account. "How did...." Jean got ready to ask but it hit her. "Kris that was the Breeders money that you won yesterday wasn't it" she asked. "Well the last time we won Kerry stole the money and you really needed it so this time I made shure that the money made it into the account" Kris said. Jean got up and hugged Kris "you won that money you should not have done that" Jean said. "To late the money is in your account" Kris said. She got up and walked out. She was glad that she got the money to them. She was happy. Tomorrow she would start training with Davis Farms and she was happy about that. Jean, Matt, Kerry, and Brian were all so excited that she was riding in the Kentucky Derby. For the first time in a while everything was going good but how long would it last?...........WILL KRIS WIN THE KENTUCKY DERBY? OR WILL THEY EVEN MAKE IT THO THE KENTUCKY DERBY? TO BE CONTINUED!!!

The Big News

Kerry had left a few hours ago and Jean had told Kris to take the day off and begin training tomorrow for the race. Kris was also supposed to begin training the horse at Meadow Farms tomorrow all so. She did not know what to do. She had been setting in Wildfire's stall all day thinking about what to do. If she could win the Breeders again that could be great for her career and the money could help her out to. But the Ritters needed her to ride for them and they needed the money to fix what Kerry had messed up. The races were not on the same day the Breeders was a day ahead of the other but she could not train for both and be ready for both. How could she make this decision? She just sat there thinking when Junior walked up. He came up and set down in the hay beside her. She was deep in thought and did not even notice he was there. "Hey" Junior said. Kris finally turned her head and saw him setting there. "All hey I didn't even notice you there" Kris said. "Whats wrong" Junior asked. Kerry got Meadow Brooke Farms to let me ride one of there horses in the Breeders in two weeks" Kris told him staring at Wildfire. "That's great" Junior said. "No because the Ritters also got Wildfire in a big race that is the same week" Kris told him. "All that's why your up set you don't know which to choose" Junior said rubbing her back. "Yea I mean if I could win the Breeders again that would be great for my career but the Ritters need me to ride and win this race for them cause they need the money" Kris said rubbing her head. "I don't know what to do and I have thought about this so much that I have a headache" Kris said. "Hey come here" Junior said pulling Kris on his lap. "Listen which race do you want to ride in" Junior asked looking in her eyes. "The Breeders but I don't want to hurt the Ritters" Kris said. "Listen Kris you are a jockey you can ride in any race you want. You don't always have to ride for the Ritters" Junior said still holding her on his lap. "I am I am going to ride for Meadow Brooke Farms in the Breeders" Kris said cheering up a little. "Good and you will win" Junior said kissing her. "Now I just have to find a way to tell the Ritters" Kris said. Kris and Junior sat there talking for a little while when Kerry walked up. Kris was setting on Juniors lap still. Kerry looked at them for a second he missed Kris he wanted to be holding her in his arms and going out with her. He hated the fact that she was going out with Junior. He finally quit day dreaming and knocked on the barn door. Kris and Junior looked up and saw him standing there. Kris jumped off Juniors lap and stood up. "I am ridding in the Breeders" she told him. He knew that she was deciding between Raintree and Meadow Brooke. "That's great" Kerry said hugging Kris. Junior saw him hug her. He knew Kerry liked Kris and he hated it. He knew that Kris loved him and not Kerry but he all so knew that Kris liked him more than Matt but she still went out with him. He trusted Kris and loved her so much. "Ok listen I just wanted to see which race you were going to choose so I am going to get going" Kerry said. Kerry left and Kris turned back to Junior. She could tell that Junior was up set about Kerry. She walked over to Junior and kissed him a long sweet kiss. Junior stood there and ran his hands over her back and then her lower back. Kris pulled away. "I need to go tell Jean about not riding in the race" Kris said. She went to walk away but Junior pulled her arm and started to kiss her again. "Come on Junior we cant do this" Kris said pulling away. "Fine" Junior said playfully. "I will see you later" he said walking off. Kris headed to the houses. Jean was setting on the coach watching television. "Can I talk to you" Kris asked. "Yea" Jean said turning off the television. "Kerry talked to the people at Meadow Brooke Farms and they want me to ride for them in the Breeders" Kris said. "That's great" Jean said. "The Breeders is the same week as the race Wildfire is in" Kris said. "I am going to ride in the Breeders" she added. "So you will not ride in the race for us" Jean asked sounding mad. "I am so sorry but riding in the Breeders again will be what is best for my career" Kris said. Jean stood up and got ready to walk off but stopped and said "Before Kerry became your agent again you did what was best for us and you not your career but now it is all about what is best for your career" Jean said mad and walked off. Kris was upset and she went up stairs and laid down on her bed. Maybe Jean was right maybe I had changed Kris thought. She didn't want her life to revolve around her career but this was the first time in her life that she had a job that she loved and that was worth fighting for. She loved racing and was glad that she got the opportunity to ride in the Breeders again. She laid there thinking for a while when someone knocked on her door. "Yea" she said. Matt walked in and sat down on her bed. "my mom tells me that you are not riding in the race" Matt said. "No I choose to ride for Meadow Brooke Farms in the Breeders again" Kris said. "Do you know who you are going to get to ride Wildfire in the race" Kris asked. "No'' Matt said standing up. "Look Matt I am sorry that I am not riding" Kris said. "Yea me to" Matt said walking out sounding mad. Kris laid back down on her bed and pulled out her cell phone and called Junior. "Hey baby girl" Junior said answering his phone. "Hey" Kris said acting sad. ''Whats wrong" Junior asked. "Matt and Jean are really mad at me for not riding for them" Kris said. "Well I have some really awesome news" Junior said sounding excited. "Davis Farms got a letter in the mail today that said we got in to the Kentucky Derby" Junior said. "That's cool" Kris said sounding happy. "No it gets better" Junior said. "We want you to ride for us" Junior said. "All my God" Kris said screaming."Are you serious" she asked. "yea" Junior said he was glad that Kris was happy. "What did you dad and Dani say about me riding" Kris asked. "They want you to. They may not like you as much as I do but they want to win this race and they know that you are the best jockey" Junior said. "When is the race" Kris asked. "The race is in three months but we are leaving for Kentucky in two months because the horse needs to be there for a while and get use to everything before the race" Junior said. "Yes" Kris screamed. She was so happy. Junior laughed. "Listen I am coming over in a few minutes" Junior said. "ok" Kris said as she hung up the phone. She was going to ride in the Kentucky Derby and the Breeders again and she was going to win both she thought. She was so happy....................... WILL KRIS WIN THE BREEDERS AND THE KENTUCKY DERBY? WILL JEAN AND MATT STAY MAD AT HER FOR NOT RIDING? TO BE CONTINUED!!!

Finding The Horses and The Choice

They mounted there horses and went off on the direction they herd the noise. It was now raining and still thundering and lighting. They were all wet and still searching for the horses. "I don't think we are going to find them tonight and I am getting really wet and it's freezing out here" Junior said. Kris gave him a mean look. "We are going to find Wildfire" Kris said yelling over the sound of the rain. They rode a little farther. "I'm cold and wet and I want to go home" Dani said complaining. "Finally they slowed down and looked around the open field. It was pitch dark but the rain had slowed down. They all shined there flash lights over the field. They didn't see anything but they heard the horse again. It was coming from deeper in the woods. They started riding again and shining the flash lights in to the woods. Finally they saw a horse coming running towards them. The horse stopped when it got to them. Matt caught the horse. It was not Wildfire but Raven. "Ok some one needs to take Raven back and someone needs to keep looking for Wildfire" Matt said. Dani was freezing with out a jacket so she offered to take Raven back. She rode ff in the direction of Raintree and Matt, Junior, and Kris continued looking for Wildfire. They finally were out of the woods and the rain had slacked off to where now it was hardly raining a all. "We need to let the horses rest for a while" Matt said. They got off there horse and Matt let them drink from the river and then he tied them up. They were all freezing and wet. Junior and Kris sat down on a blanket on the ground. Kris was shacking she was so cold. Junior rapped her up in a blanket and held her in his arms. She was worried about Wildfire. Matt went over and sat down beside them. His phone started ringing. "Cool I didn't even know I got reception out here" Matt said answering his phone. It was Jean. "Matt listen Dani got back here with Raven and Wildfire just turned up. He must have found his way back on his on" Jean told him. "Thank God" Matt said "We are on our way back". They got up and mounted there horses and headed to Raintree. Right when they got there it started raining a lot and thundering and lighting again. Matt put the horses up and Kris and Junior headed inside. They were socking wet and freezing. Dani was setting on the Ritter coach rapped up in a blanket. "I am never going to help you guys find missing horses again when they are calling for it to rain and be freezing" she said. Kris and Junior laughed and headed up stairs. They both got in Kris's bed under like 5 blankets. Junior walked to Raintree and now that it was raining he didn't want to walk back so he stayed there with Kris all night. They were just laying there. Neither one could sleep. "Can I ask you something" Junior asked Kris. "Yea" Kris said. "When you and Matt were going out and your brother came to visit why did he come. I mean you have been here for like two years and he has never came before has he" Junior asked. "He wanted me to go see our dad who lives in West Virginia" she said. "Are you going to" Junior asked. "No" Kris said staring up at the ceiling. "Why don't you want to see him" Junior asked. "I have never meet him. He left before I was born and I don't want to see him" Kris said. "Your kind of lucky" Junior said. "Most of the time I wish I had never meet my dad". Kris laughed. "Between Dani and my dad sometimes it is like living with the Adams family" Junior said. Kris rolled over and laid her head on his chest. "So I guess that is one thing we do have in common we both cant stand our family" Junior said. Kris laughed. They soon fell asleep. Kris woke up the next morning to her cell phone ringing. She picked it up and it was Kerry. "Hey Kris listen I need to talk to you I am on my way to Raintree now and I have good news. I talked to the people at Meadow Brooke Farm and they want you to ride in the Breeders on one of there horses." Kerry told her. "I will be there in a few minutes" Kerry said. Kris got dressed and went down stairs to wait for Kerry. Kerry pulled up and came in the kitchen. He told Kris about the horse that she would be ridding and told her that she needed to be over there tomorrow to train. Junior walked down the stairs and did not say a word to Kerry but gave Kris a hug and told her that he would call her later. Junior walked out of the door just as Jean walked in. '' Guess what Kris. Wildfire got in to the big race in two weeks" Jean said sounded very excited. Kris's face went blank that was the same week as the Breeders and there is no way that she could train both horses and be ready for both races. What was she going to do. She would love to race in the Breeders and win again but she could not let Raintree down. She didn't know what to do....................... WILL KRIS RIDE IN THE BREEDERS OR WILL SHE RIDE IN THE RACE FOR RAINTREE? TO BE CONTINUED!!!

Looking For The Horses

Kris and Junior walked back to Raintree. When they got there Jean was in the kitchen. "Good you two here" Jean said. "Matt is out side with the trail horses and you three and Dani are going to go look for Wildfire and Raven" Jean added. Kris and Junior walked outside and there was Matt and Dani waiting with the trail horses. Kris and Junior mounted there horse and they were off into the woods to look for the missing horses. It was about nine o'clock when they left Raintree so it was already dark. They rode a little while and looked for the horses using flash lights. It was getting cold and Dani was the only one with out a jacket so she was complaining a lot. They reached the camp sight where the stayed the first time the horses broke loose. "Were going to have to stay here again" Matt said getting off his horse and tying up the horses. Matt and Dani went off in to the woods to find wood for the fire. Junior was setting on a blanket and Kris was laying with her head in Juniors lap. They were looking up at the stars. Kris sat up and and looked in his eyes and said "I love you and I am glad we are back together". Junior smiled and kissed her back. Junior stood up and took Kris's hand pulled her up. "Come here I want to show you something". Kris followed him and they walked to the spot where they had there first real kiss the first time they were out here. Kris sat down next to him. He leaned in and kissed her and she kissed him back they sat there a while kissing and finally Kris pulled away and said "We should get back". Junior and Kris walked back holding hands. Matt and Dani were at the camp sight talking while Kris and Junior were kissing and walking back. "So is Gillian coming back to town any time soon" Dani asked. Junior had finally told her about Matt and Kris breaking up and him and Kris going back out. "No she is engaged to some other guy" Matt said. "I am sorry" Dani said. "Its ok truth is I don't think that Gillian is the right one for me any way" Matt said. "Who do you think is the right one for you" Dani asked. Matt didn't say anything but he leaned in and kissed her. Dani kissed him back but then pulled away. "As hard as it is I don't think RJ was the right on for me". Dani missed RJ but Matt was the right one for me. They kissed again. "I love you" Matt said. "I love you to" Dani replied back. Junior and Kris walked up and saw Matt and Dani kissing. "so I take it that you two are back together" Junior asked laughing at seeing them kiss. Kris playfully hit Junior at his last comment. "Yea like you two were not just doing the same thing" Matt said laughing. Just then they heard thunder and saw a strike of lightning in the sky then heard a horse off in the distance............... WILL THEY FIND WILDFIRE? WILL HE BE HURT? WILL THEY GET HURT? TO BE CONTINUED!!!

The Race and The Make Up

It had been three days since Kris and Junior had last talked or rather yelled at each other. Kris had been working with the horses and Brian lately. Kerry even got her in a big race coming up in two days. She was riding Wildfire in the race. Brian was a great trainer and he even had her times better than they were when Pablo worked there. Kris lead Wildfire out to the track where Brian, Jean, Kerry and Matt were leaning against the rail watching as Kris got on Wildfire and Brian lead him into the starting gate. The gate flew open and her and Wildfire flew around the track. When they finished Brian told her that she cut off two more seconds off her time. Kris was happy but she still missed Junior. Kerry came up to her and rapped his arm around her shoulders. '' Great ride why don't we go out to dinner to celebrate '' Kerry said. '' No '' Kris said sounding mad and taking Kerry's arm off of her shoulder. '' I told you already you are just my agent not my boyfriend. So that means no dates '' Kris said. Kerry dropped the subject and said
''Ok I have to get going but I will see you tomorrow and you looked good today '' Kerry said. Kris looked at him and laughed. Kerry realized how his last comment sounded to Kris. He laughed to and said '' I meant your ride on Wildfire looked good ''. '' yea '' Kris said still laughing. '' I'll see you tomorrow '' Kris said. ''bye'' Kerry said walking off. Kris walked in the barn and saw Matt sitting on some hay polishing a saddle. Kris walked by him and he could tell she was thinking about Junior. Junior and Matt had become best friends again Junior had told him the whole story. '' Do you miss him '' Matt asked not making eye contact. '' Who '' Kris asked trying to act like nothing was wrong. Matt laughed '' Don't pretend like nothing is wrong. I know you miss Junior '' Matt said. Kris set down beside him. Matt put down the saddle and said '' ok tell me whats up. I mean I have heard Juniors said of the story but I am guessing that you have your own side ''. '' I just feel like I have to choose between racing and Junior '' Kris said staring at the ground. " You don't have to give up Junior for racing just give up Kerry " Matt said. '' I don't like Kerry but I want to be a great Jockey and I was a great jockey when Kerry was my agent '' Kris said looking Matt in the eyes. '' There are other people that could be your agent that would help you be a good jockey and that Junior probably would not have a problem with '' Matt said. '' Matt don't you get it '' Kris said stand up. '' This is the first time in my life that I am doing something that I love and that I'm good at. I don't want to be a good Jockey I want to be the best or at least the best that I can be and Junior does not get that '' Kris said. She sat back down next to Matt. '' I never new that '' Matt said. '' Knew what '' Kris asked. '' What racing meant to you. I just thought you liked riding Wildfire I didn't know that it meant all that to you " Matt said looking Kris in the eyes. '' Have you ever told Junior that '' Matt asked. '' What '' Kris asked. " What you just told me '' Matt said. '' No '' Kris said. Just then they heard Jean calling for Matt. '' Ok I have to go but I think you should tell him that '' Matt said standing up and walking out of the barn. Two days went by and it was the day of the race. Kris was nerves. Davis farms was all so racing Avatar in the race. Wildfire and Avatar were in the starting gates. Junior and Pablo was setting in the stands with Dani and Ken. Matt was setting with Jean, Kerry, and Brian. Junior looked over at Kerry and Kerry gave him a mean smile. Kerry knew about the fight between him and Kris. Junior wanted to punch him. The gates flew open and Wildfire, Avatar, and the other horses were off. Wildfire and Avatar were neck in neck the whole race but finally the race was over and Wildfire and Kris won. Kris was so happy. Not only was this a big race but it was the first race she had rode in since the match race. She got off of Wildfire and hugged Matt, Jean, Brian, then Kerry. She looked over at Junior who was standing over to the side of the track. He saw her but then walked away. Kris felt her heart drop. She missed him a lot. She stood in front of Wildfire as they took pictures. When it was all done the Ritters went home but Kris stayed for a little while. Every one had gone so the stands and the track was empty. She walked out and set at on the rail in front of the starting gate. She started think of all the memories. This is where she lost her first race against Tina and where she won the Breeders and many other races after that. She was usually so happy after she won a race but tonight something was missing or someone. At that moment she realized what was important. She left the track but did not go to Raintree. She went to Davis. She knocked on the door. Junior answered. He looked happy to see her. " What are you doing here " Junior asked. " Can we talk " Kris asked. Junior nodded and they went on a walk. They walked to the lake behind Juniors house a set on the bridge. " I'm sorry... " Junior started to say but Kris stoped him. " No me first " Kris said Junior nodded. '' I am not going to let Kerry be my agent any more '' Kris said. " I wanted Kerry to be my agent so that I could be a better jockey but I realized today that no matter how many races I win or no matter how great of a jockey I become none of it is ever going to be enough with out you " Kris said looking in his eyes. Kris went to say some thing else but before she could Junior leaned in and kissed her. They pulled away and Junior said " Matt told me what you said to him the other day about racing and I don't think I ever realized what it meant to and how much you love it and I don't want to be the guy that took it away from you. So I want Kerry to be your agent as long as that is all he is " Junior said smiling. Kris smiled and leaned in and kissed him again. They set there for a few minutes kissing. Junior pulled away " so were good and back together " Junior asked. " Yea" Kris said. She kissed him once more and said " I need to get back ". Junior stood up and took Kris's hand and pulled her up. He raped his arms around her back and kissed her once more. She pulled away and rapped her arms around his neck and hugged him. Junior rapped his arms around her back and hugged her back. " I love you and if I had to choose between you and racing I would choose you " she said. They pulled away and Junior said " I love you to and if I had to choose between you and my family I would choose you. All wait I already did that " he said laughing. Kris laughed back. " Come on I will walk you home " Junior said taking her hand as they headed to Raintree. On the way back Kris's cell phone started ringing. She picked it up and it was Matt. " Hey Matt whats up " she asked. " Wildfire and Raven just broke out of the barn................ WILL THEY FIND WILDFIRE? WILL HE BE OK IF THEY DO FIND HIM? WHAT WILL KERRY DO WHEN HE FINDS OUT KRIS AND JUNIOR ARE BACK TOGETHER? TO BE CONTINUED!!!

Three New Horses and The Break Up

Kris woke up the next morning thinking about her conversation with Kerry. She knew she could be a good jockey with out his help but she wanted to be a great jockey and Kerry knew so many people that would let her ride for them. If it wasn't for Kerry she would have never gotten in the Breeders. Ok so he cheated on her to get her in but he wasn't going to be her boyfriend this time he was just her agent. She laid there thinking about Jean, Matt, and especially Junior and how they would take the news of Kerry being back in her life. She was afraid of how Junior was going to take it mainly. She loved racing and Kerry came along with that but she all so loved Junior and did not want to loose him. She just laid there thinking for a while when she suddenly realized she had to get up and go help with the new trainer and the new horses. She got up and took a shower. She put on a pair of jeans and a cute blue and purple tank top. She left her hair down. She went down stairs and saw Jean and Matt sitting at the table. '' Hey Kris '' Matt said as she walked in. '' Hey '' she said to both of them. '' Listen I need to talk to you guys '' Kris said seriously. '' I think I'm going to let Kerry be my agent again '' Kris said. Jean got ready to say something but remembered that she told Kris last night that she would stay out of this. '' I promise that this time I will not let him take care of anything having to do with you guys and Raintree '' Kris said finishing up her speech. Jean smiled and got up and walked over and hugged her. '' You shur this is what you want '' Jean asked. '' I think so '' Kris answered. '' ok just be careful '' Jean said to Kris. '' I need to go help with the trainer '' Jean said as she walked out of the house. Matt sat there looking a little shocked. '' Your going to let Kerry be your agent again '' Matt asked. '' Yea '' Kris said. '' Why after all the trouble he caused the last time would you even think about letting him back in your life '' Matt asked. '' Because even though he caused all that trouble he still got me in a lot of good races '' Kris answered. '' Yea but that still does not make up for all he did. Your forgetting that he is the one that kept you and Junior apart '' Matt said. '' So did you but were still friends. I promise things will be different this time with Kerry '' Kris said. '' Ok just be careful and good luck telling Junior '' Matt said laughing. '' Yea I will need all the luck I can get with that '' Kris said. '' All by the way Jillian is no longer moving back and we are no longer together '' Matt said. '' why '' Kris said. '' She is now back in England dating some guy and they are engaged '' Matt said. '' I am so sorry Matt '' Kris said sweetly. '' Its ok I will be fine '' Matt said. '' Come on lets go see the new horses '' Matt said walking out of the house followed by Kris. They worked with the three new horses named Dixie, Raven, and Devon and the new trainer Brian most of the day. When they got done it was about six o'clock at night and Matt, Kris, and Jean were so tired. They walked in the house and set down at the table when Kris's cell started ringing. The caller ID said Junior. She walked out of the kitchen and up to her room and picked up the phone. '' Hello '' she said. '' You either sound hungover or tired '' Junior said laughing. '' Yea '' Kris said '' very funny ''. '' Listen I need to talk to you '' Kris said sounding seriously. '' Ok I can come over in a few seconds '' Junior said. They hung up and Kris laid down on her bed. Junior walked over to Raintree and through the kitchen door and saw Matt setting at the table laying his head down. '' What have you been doing today '' Junior asked setting down next to Matt. '' Flirting with Kris '' Matt said joking. '' Yea and how did that go '' Junior said laughing. '' umm......... well we did make it up to the hay loft a few times '' Matt said joking again. '' Ha ha '' Junior said laughing. '' I'm going to go see Kris I will see you tomorrow'' Junior said. '' Hey Junior '' Mat said. '' yea '' '' about everything with me and Kris ... '' Matt said pausing a second '' Were cool right '' he asked. '' yea '' Junior said '' were cool '' '' see you later dude '' Junior said walking up stairs to see Kris. He walked in her room and saw her laying on her bed with her head in the pillow. Junior went over to her bed and set down beside her. He rubbed her back as she set up. He gave her a kiss and she moved closer to him as he put his arm around her and held her close to him as he kissed her head. '' long day '' he asked. '' Yea me, Jean, and Matt had to help with the new trainer Brian and the three horses '' she replied. '' What did you want to talk to me about '' Junior asked. Kris stood up in front of him and held his hand. " Ok you're not going to like this but here it goes. Kerry is going to be my agent again '' Kris said looking in his eyes. Junior drooped her hand and stood up. '' What '' he asked yelling at her. '' Look he is just going to help me get into races and do agent stuff nothing else I promise '' Kris said. '' I can not believe this. First he comes between us then he cheats on you then he steals the Breeders money and even after all of that he kissed you last night and you still trust him '' Junior yelled. '' I don't trust him to be my boyfriend and I wont let him hurt the Ritters again but I want him to be my agent '' Kris yelled back. '' You know what I should not feel bad about this. You know that racing makes me happy and Kerry can help me when it comes to racing then you should want that if it makes me happy. But no you have to much ego and pride to do that '' Kris yelled. She calmed down for a second and walked over to him and stood in front of him again and said '' I told him I did not need a boyfriend and that I all ready have one ''. '' Not anymore '' Junior said storming out and slamming the door............. WILL KRIS CHOOSE TO GO AFTER HER DREAM OF RACING OR STAY WITH JUNIOR? EVEN IF SHE CHOOSES TO STAY WILL JUNIOR TAKE HER BACK? AND NOW THAT GILLIAN IS OUT OF THE PICTURE WHO WILL MATT GO AFTER? TO BE CONTINUED!!!

A New Agent and A New Trainer

Kris stood there in the door way staring at Kerry, Jean, and the look on Jeans face. She knew how Jean felt about Kerry. She had been mad at him since he stole the Breeders money. '' Kris, Kerry was telling me how he got your racing license back '' Jean started. '' Yea he knew the judge Taylor and he convinced her to give me my license back '' Kris answered nervously. She knew Jean was mad. '' Kris can I talk to you a second '' Jean asked. '' Yea '' Kris answered following Jean in to the living room. '' Kris I cant believe that you would let Kerry back in like that after all he has done to all of us '' Jean said yelling a little. '' I am not letting him in I just want him to get my license back for me. God you and Junior both jump to conclusions all the time. '' Kris said. She stood up from the coach her and Jean were setting on. She ran outside and slammed the door. Jean set there feeling a little bad about yelling at her. She just wanted to race again and if Kerry could help her do that then she should let him. Jean walked back to the kitchen and set back down beside Kerry. '' How much of that did you hear '' she asked Kerry. '' everything '' Kerry replied. Kris started crying. She never cried much but she felt like everything was falling apart. The only way she could get her license back was if Kerry helped her and if Kerry helped her then Jean and Junior were going to hate her. She was kind of mad at Jean right now. First Jean got mad at her for dating her son then she kicked her out because she rode in the match race. She only rode in the race to help the Ritters, and now she was mad because Kerry was helping her. Kris walked up to Wildfire and set on some hay in his stall. She was still crying. She wiped the tears away from her eyes. '' I miss racing. Riding you in races makes me happy and if Jean and Junior really cared about me and loved me then they would want me to be happy, right '' ? she asked Wildfire. Wildfire just stood there. Kris laughed a little and said '' you know Wildfire it's times like this I really wish you could answer me back''. Mean while back in the house Jean and Kerry was talking. '' Ok '' Jean started. '' I want you to help Kris get her license back. But that is it '' Jean said. '' ok that's it '' Kerry assured her. '' good '' Jean said standing up. Kerry stood up and shook Jeans hand and started walking out. '' Jean '' Kerry said stooping her. '' Yea '' she answered. '' I am really sorry about.... '' Kerry started. '' no '' Jean said stooping him. '' You are just getting her license back then we can all go back being mad at you again '' Jean said smiling a little. She wasn't really kidding but Kerry shook his head and walked out of the house. Kris was finishing talking to Wildfire when Kerry walked up. '' She said I could help you get your license back '' Kerry said. '' good '' Kris said back. " Taylor told me starting Monday you could ride again as long as this never happens again '' Kerry said. '' ok '' Kris replied. Kerry walked over and set down on the hay beside her. '' There is one more thing '' Kerry said. '' What '' Kris asked. '' I want to be your agent again '' Kerry said staring in her eyes. Kris set there in shock. Before she could say anything Kerry leaned in and kissed her. Kris quickly pulled away and started crying again. She got up and ran out of the barn and almost ran into Junior. Junior saw her crying and stopped her and pulled her close to him and tried to calm her down. '' no stop '' Kris said still crying. She ran to the house and through the door. She passed Jean. '' Kris whats wrong ''? Jean asked. Kris didn't answer her she just ran in her room and shut the door. Jean walked out to the barn. Knowing Kerry's track record she figured this had something to do with him. She walked in the barn and saw Junior and Kerry yelling at each other. " What did you do to her " Junior asked yelling. '' Nothing I just told her I wanted to be her agent again and then she kissed me '' Kerry said with a mean smile on his face. Junior shoved Kerry against a wall. '' she did not kiss you I know she would not do that. You kissed her didn't you '' Junior said yelling at Kerry. Jean chimed in on the conversation. '' You kissed her and asked to be her agent again '' Jean said also yelling at Kerry. '' I told you just to get her license back and NOTHING else '' Jean added. '' Kris is a big girl and she can choose who her agent is and who her boyfriend is '' Kerry said. Junior was so close to punching Kerry and Jean knew it. '' Junior why don't you go check on Kris and make sure she is ok '' Jean said. '' fine but this isn't over '' he said yelling towards Kerry. Junior walked out and towards the house. '' Kris does not need an agent who uses her and she did choose her boyfriend. She choose Junior so why don't you leave her alone '' Jean said walking out of the barn and up to the house. Kerry got in his car and left. Junior walked in the Ritters house and up to Matt's old room witch was now Kris's room. He knocked on the door and walked in. She was laying on her bed with her head in her pillow. Junior walked over and laid on the bed beside her. She rolled over and laid her head on his chest. '' I am so sorry '' Kris said sobbing. '' You did not do any thing '' Junior said '' it was Kerry who kissed you ''. '' I don't want to loose you '' Kris said still crying. '' You will never loose me '' Junior said looking in her eyes. He wiped the tears off her cheek. Jean knocked on the door and walked in and Junior set up. '' I should be going '' Junior said. He kissed her on the cheek and wiped the tears from her eyes again. Before he stood up he whispered '' I love you '' in her ear and left. Jean set down and hugged her. '' I am sorry. I need to stay out of your personal life and let you figure it out and if you think you need Kerry to be your agent then.... I cant stop you. But if you do let him back in then be careful. '' she said. '' Thanks '' Kris said hugging her back. Jean got ready to walk out but stopped. '' We are getting three new horses tomorrow and I would like you to work with them. Jean has sold all of the horses after the match race so with the three new ones coming in that brought the grand total to five counting Wildfire and Flame which Pablo brought back from Davis farms when Kris came back. '' yea I will help with them '' Kris said. '' good. We are also getting a new trainer. His name is Brian Winter and he will also start tomorrow and Matt will also help '' Jean said '' ok '' Kris replied as Jean walked out. Kris changed into her pajamas and got ready to lay down. She picked up her cell phone and dialed Kerry's number. He picked up and said '' Hey baby ''. Kris rolled her eyes and said '' ok I don't need a boy friend I already have one but.... she paused for a second then continued I do need an agent.............. TO BE CONTINUED!!!!!!

The Return of Kerry and Fight #2

Kris walked up to Kerry " What are you doing here? I thought that you were supposed to be in jail for stealing the breeders money from the Ritters ". " I was in jail but I got out and I thought the first person I should talk to should be you " Kerry replied to her. Kris walked up to Wildfire and pet his nose. Kerry was setting on a pile of hay in front of Wildfire's stall. '' How did you know I would be here? I mean in the barn. '' she asked. '' Well when we were going out every night you would come out here and talk to Wildfire and I figured that old habits were hard to break '' Kerry told here. Kris laughed a little and turned towards Wildfire. Kerry continued talking to her. '' Kris I heard about the match race and that you got your license taken away. I think I may know a way to help you get it back. I am friends with the officer that took it away from you. I think I can convense her to give it back to you. '' Kerry said. '' When you say talk to her to get it back you mean sleep with her right '' Kris said finally looking him in the eye. '' So I guess Gillian told you about that '' Kerry said '' Yea she did '' Kris said. She set down on the pile of hay beside Kerry. '' I'm sorry '' Kerry said '' Look I don't want to here your pathetic story about how sorry you are but I do want you to help me get my license back '' Kris said. Kerry looked at her a little shocked that she wanted his help. '' really '' Kerry said. '' Yea. I mean I have no reason to trust you but right now I don't have my license so I guess that you cant make this much worse '' Kris said. '' Kerry laughed a little. '' I will go talk to Taylor the officer tomorrow and will call you after '' Kerry said. '' ok '' Kris said standing up and walking out of the barn. '' Hey Kris '' Kerry said stopping her. She turned around. '' I'm sorry '' Kerry said finally making eye contact with her. She nodded and headed to the house and Kerry got in his car and drove home. Kris walked in the kitchen and Matt was there just hanging up the phone. " who was that '' Kris asked. '' Gillian. She is moving back to town and we are going to try and make it work this time '' Matt said acting excited. " cool '' Kris replied. Kris wanted Matt to be happy and plus she was with Junior now. Kris and Matt said good bye and she headed up stairs and Matt headed to the bunk house. Kris took a shower and changed in to her pajamas and got in bed. She soon fell asleep. The next day she got up and changed into a pair of jeans and a brown and white tank top and a brown pair of flip flops. She headed out the door and walked to Davis farms to see Junior. She was walking to the house and ran into Pablo who was still working there. '' Hey Pablo '' Kris said. '' Hey '' he replied back. '' Look Pablo I am sorry about every thing. I am sorry for yelling at you about leaving Raintree and I am sorry for stealing Wildfire and entering him in the match race. I just thought that if we won then the money would help the Ritters and Raintree '' she said. '' It's ok Kris. I am sorry for telling you that you were the girl I found back in prison because your not and even though what you did was wrong you still did it to help '' Pablo said. " Thanks " Kris said. " So I have to ask are you and Junior going back out '' Pablo asked. " Yea " Kris said happily. " Good may be now he will be able to concentrate on his work and on the farm knowing that you and Matt are not together " Pablo said. Kris laughed and headed to the house. She knocked on the door and Junior answered. '' Hey '' Junior said kissing her. She kissed him back. ''Have you told you family about me and you going out yet '' she asked. '' Dani yes my dad no. I love you but my dad doesn't '' Junior said laughing. '' Thanks '' Kris said joking. They headed to the barn. Kris was setting on Juniors lap while he set on some hay making out when Kris's cell started ringing. She answered it. '' Hallo '' Kris said. '' Kris its me '' Kerry said on the other end. '' Taylor said that you could have your license back since you gave back the money from the race '' Kerry said. '' O my God. Thank you so much '' Kris said happily. '' Well we still need to run over some details. I will meat you at Raintree at five o'clock today '' Kerry said. '' shure'' Kris said and hung up the phone. She was still setting on Juniors lap. She hugged him so tight. Junior laughed and hugged her back. '' What was that about '' Junior asked. '' I get my racing license back '' she said happily. '' That is great '' Junior replied. '' How '' he asked. '' Kerry helped me '' Kris said sounding less happy than she did five seconds ago. '' What '' Junior said sounding mad now. He picked her up off his lap and stood up. '' Junior he is just helping me get my license back nothing else. Junior I really want to race again and if Kerry can help me do that then I want him to '' she said staring in his eyes. '' I don't have to trust him or even like him I just need him to get my license back ''she added. '' That's all nothing else '' Junior asked. '' Yes that's all '' Kris said standing up and looking in his blue eyes. '' Ok look I need to go help Dani with a new horse we are getting '' Junior said walking out of the barn. Kris walked back to Raintree thinking about Junior. She hated hurting Junior. She looked at her watch and it was 5:00 all ready. She walked in the kitchen and there was Jean and Kerry at the same table and Jean did not look happy..............WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT? WILL KRIS AND JUNIOR BE OVER? Moving In and The Fight

Kris and Matt left the bunk house and ran to find find Jean. The ran was picking up when they reached the house. They walked in the kitchen and saw Todd eating breakfast and Jean and Pablo were setting there discussing Wildfire's next race. When Todd saw Kris walk in he jumped up and ran to hug her. Everyone knew that Todd had a crush on Kris. Everyone knew except Kris. Jean and Pablo also got up and hugged her. " O my God " Kris Jean exclaimed. " I was so worried about you and I am so glad that you are here " she added. " Yea Kris we were all worried about you " Pablo added. " Kris I am sorry that I told you to leave. I don't want you to leave you belong here " Jean said " Thanks " Kris said. " I need to get back to Davis farms now '' Pablo said. " And I am sorry that I entered Wildfire in the match race behind your back " Kris said, " and if you don't mind I would like to have my room back " Kris added. " Well I thought that you were staying in the bunk house with Matt " Jean said " Well actually mom, we are not together anymore " Matt said " O, I'm sorry " Jean said. " Kris you can certainly have your room back " she said to Kris. " Thanks " Kris said. " I will help her move her things from the bunk house " Matt said to his mom " Good '' Jean said. Kris and Matt walked out to the bunk house and started packing up all of her clothes and things. " Ok you have a lot of clothes " Matt said laughing " Shut up " Kris said joking. " They got all of her things packed and moved it in the house when the rain slacked down. She was up in her room getting everything put up when Matt walked in the kitchen with a box. " Ok this is the last one " Matt said to his mom. " Can I ask you a question " Jean asked Matt. " Sure mom " Matt answered. " why did you two break up "? Jean asked. " I don't think I was ever really over Gillian and I know that Kris and Junior were never really over each other " Matt explained. " I am sorry and I hope things are not going to be weird between you two now " Jean said. " No I mean we are still friends " Matt said. " Good, I am going to take the last box up to Kris and I am sorry and I hope you are going to be ok " Jean said sympathetic. " Thanks '' Matt said as he walked out of the house and to the bunk house. Jean walked up to Kris's room and set down the box and said " I am sorry about you and Matt ". " It's ok I think him and Gillian are better together " she said. "What about you and Junior " Jean asked. " I think maybe we are headed to a brighter future this time " Kris said to Jean. " Good " Jean said " I hope so " she added " O and Kris Jean said "yea" Kris said. " I glad that you are back " Jean replied.
Kris finished unpacking and changed into some jeans and a black tank top and some black converse shoes. She left her hair down and headed out the door to Davis Farms. She got there and got ready to knock on the door before she could Junior opened the door and grabbed her arm and pulled her inside. " Whats going on " she asked. " My dad and Dani are fighting " Junior answered. He pulled her up stairs to his room and shut and locked the door. " I haven't really told them about you and Matt breaking up and me and you going out so..." before he could finish Kris kissed him. " It's ok " she said. Junior leaned down and kissed her again. He ran his fingers through her hair. Just then they heard Ken and Dani come up the stairs yelling at each other. They stood in front of Juniors door and continued yelling. Junior and Kris leaned against the door and listened to them yell at each other. About an hour passed and Ken and Dani were still there. Junior was setting with his back against the door and Kris was laying with with her head on Juniors lap. He was running his fingers through her long brown hair. " I love you " he whispered to Kris. " I love you to " she whispered back. They set there for two hours until Dani and Ken finally left and Junior walked Kris to the door and gave her a long sweet kiss. " Do you want me to walk you home " he asked. " No it's ok. I will be fine " she replied. They said good bye and Junior went up stairs and got ready to go to bed. Kris walked home. She walked to the barn to talk to Wildfire and catch him and Flame up on all the news about her and Matt breaking up and her and Junior going back out and her living here again. New Love

" What are you doing here " Junior asked when he answered the door. " I just....... I just needed to see you and tell you something. " she said. " It started to rain harder. " come on in " Junior said as he shut the door behind them. " nice pj's by the way " Junior said referring to her care bear pajama pants. " thanks " Kris said laughing. Junior smiled. All she had to do was laugh and that made him smile. " Me and Matt broke up '' Kris said with out much feeling. " "umm..... sorry " Junior said not really meaning it. " why did you break up with him " Junior asked. "Well actually he broke up with me " Kris answered looking down at the floor.Junior walked over to the coach and Kris followed him they set down and Kris continued. " Well apparently I talk in my sleep and I said I love you " Kris said. " wait a minuet " Junior said standing up from the coach. " I waited forever to hear you say that to me I don't care if you said in you sleep or when you were awake and you never said it to me but you say that you loved him and he broke up with you " Junior said kind of yelling. " ok " Kris said trying to calm Junior down. " sit back down I'm not done talking to you " she said. Junior set back down beside her. " Last night in my sleep I said that I loved you, not Matt, you " Kris said starring in Juniors eyes. " No " Junior said jumping up from his place on the coach. " You cant just go out with me then dump me then lead me on then go out with my best friend then come here and tell me you love me and then ........ before Junior could finish his sentence Kris jumped in his arms and kissed him. Suddenly it did not matter to him he did love her. They pulled away. Kris was still in his arms " I do love you " Kris said staring in his eyes " I love you to " Junior replied. He set her down. " shoot I have to go Pablo and Jean still don't know I am back and Matt and I are going to tell them soon so I have to go " Kris kissed him once and headed for the door. " Hey " Junior called after her. " yea " she answered him " Why don't you come over for dinner tonight " " Yea " I'll come tonight. Kris left him and ran home before it started to rain harder. When she got there Matt was on the phone with Gillian. She walked in at the end of the conversation. " No Gillian Kris and me are over " he said " Really that's great '' he added. '' see you then love you bye '' Matt hung up the phone. " so how did it go with Gillian " Kris asked not really wanting to know but try in to be nice. Matt knew this so he answered plainly " fine " " what about you and Junior " Matt asked kind of like Kris not really wanting to know. " fine to " Kris answered smiling she could not help it she was in love. Kris went in the bathroom and changed and then they headed to the house to find Jean and catch her up on all of the news......... WILL JEAN BE GLAD THAT KRIS IS BACK? WILL GILLIAN COME BACK?
